Lies

The town and surrounding woods of Quiver Valley in northern Blackwood have been completely destroyed, along with most of its population, by what are believed to have been a gas line explosion and the following fire. There is no official comment on what caused said explosion.

Survivors in Quiver Valley have been detained and are currently being treated at an undisclosed asylum for what appears to be severe delusional paranoia, possibly caused by a combination of shock and chemicals released in the air as the fire reached the towns’ sewage plant.

The recently released photos show only a few structures left standing, and streets filled with severely burnt corpses both on the inside and outside of said structures. Analysts theorize that the groups outside were most probably trying to help those that were trapped inside.

Officials have not yet confirmed how many have died in the incident, and we received unconfirmed reports of bodies being found on the outskirts of the forest, though the cause of death has not been determined, as the bodies only seem to have suffered first degree burns.

Authorities are unable to get into the Valley to verify the level of destruction, but it has been confirmed that specialized crews are already on site, to begin the collection of data, and insure that it is safe to begin clean-up.

"The whole of Quiver Valley lit up in a second" John Hamilton, state trooper said. "I live a couple of miles out of town I heard explosion go off. By the time I got there, there was nothing left and the army had already set up a barrier to insure nobody would go in."
